Have you ever wanted to be a "News Anchor"? How about a journalist?
I am looking for all interested 4th and 5th grade students to assist me. Together, we will create surveys about
a number of famous composers (maybe we can even include some composers that are still living......we'll see). Then,
we will create a scavenger hunt, using the internet for our sources. Next, we will organize the information found into
a series of interviews that will be taped. Finally, we will create a "newsreel" using iMovie. I would like to
start this project soon. I would love for it to be "off of the cutting room floor" and "in the can" by early March
(OK,knowing me.....I'll take early May). Can you help? Of course! Just stop by the music room and find out
when we'll be working.....I am thinking about Monday mornings, from 8:40 - 9:10. If you can't make Mondays, don't worry,
I am SURE there will be plenty of lunch/recess times too. Just tell me you are interested and we'll work it out.
